Its Me

This summer I plan to go to The Colony, Texas.  I was born and raised there.  I’m thinking about moving there when I graduate.  Everybody on my dad’s side lives out there and my mom’s mom and cousin lives out there.

When I go out there I plan to go to Six Flags.  I love Six Flags my favorite rides are the roller coasters.  My favorite roller coaster is Batman because its the first roller coaster that I rode.  One roller coaster I plan on riding that I’m scared to ride is The Texas Titan.  

The best the to do is during the middle of the day get on all the water rides so that you’re cool throughout the day and you won’t be cold and shivering at the end of the day.  

I usually save the family rides at the end because I love to save the best for last and go home laughing at everybody and how their faces were looking on certain rides.  I’m always happy though when I leave Six Flags because I spend my monies worth.  The BEST thing to eat is FUNNEL CAKES!!

The Day at the Lake  I was sitting on the side of Lake Erie with my boyfriend James when the sun started going down.   We had been sitting out there for at least an hour talking about our future.  We came outside to settle some differences and get some things off of our chest.  Then once we made up the sun started to go down.  It was the most beautiful thing that had ever happened in my life.  I’ve always dreamed of something like this happening and I never thought it would happen for real.    I decided to go lie down and watch it go down and James came aside of me and watched it to.  Watching this made me get a little teary.  Just being able to sit there in the open and watch the sun go down was just astonishing.  I cuddled under James more to be comforted.  I was just so overwhelmed of being there with him.  We have never been together to witness something as beautiful.  I had to take my camera out in take a picture so that I would never forget.Then along came my sister Verda and her boyfriend Corey.  We were always hanging around each other.  “Hey sissy, hey James, what’s up with y’all,” my sister asked. “Nothing, I said with a smile, we’re just watching the sun go down.”  “Oh, that’s what’s up.  Do y’all want to chill tonight at my crib? She asked.”  I looked at James to see what he wanted to do.  His beautiful eyes looked at me and said “It’s whatever you want to do baby!”  I looked back at my sister and told her we would be over as soon as the sun went down. She said okay then her and Corey left.I looked at James and asked him was he sure that he wanted to go over my sisters.  He looked at me strange and said “Yeah I told you that I didn’t care as I got to be with you baby that’s all that matters.”  So after the sun had gone down we got in the car and left to go to my sister’s house.  I knocked on her door she answered with a drink in her hand.  “What are you doing do you plan on getting drunk tonight or something?”  She answered me back slowly and loudly”Yea!”  I looked back at James and all he was doing was laughing. I couldn’t do anything but laugh with him though the thought of seeing my sister drunk was the funniest thing.  The last time that we had gotten drunk was when we had graduated.  We were at James’s house and we both just let loose and got drunk.  When she got drunk she was throwing up everywhere talking off the wall and not making any since.  I thought that I was going to be the one doing that because I’m the wild sister but it wasn’t me.  So James and I walked in and sat on the couch and started watching BET.  Corey had been in the kitchen making dinner.  “What you in there cooking brother-in-law?” I said loudly.  “I’m making some spaghetti.”  “Aw k you know that’s my favorite, I see you looking out for your sister.”I got up and went into my sister’s room to check on her like always she was in the bathroom throwing up and I wasn’t even there but for about five minutes.  “Girl it’s time for you to slow down on your drinking.”  “One day you are going to end up really sick,” I said really concerned about her.  She looked up at me sadly and said, “Sissy I haven’t drank anything tonight!  I think that I might be pregnant!”  I scream and she covers my mouth.  James comes in running to see what’s wrong.  I look at her to see what kind of signal she gives me to let me know if I can tell him or not.  From the looks in her eyes she doesn’t want me to say a word.  So I look at James and told him that I saw a spider.  He takes a deep breathe and gives me a kiss and told me to never scare him like that again.  So I walk in to the bathroom hoping that she will follow me to tell me everything.  Just like I knew she came following behind me.  She then told me what happened and how it happened I was very shocked and surprised.  We came out I went out first then she came out a few minutes after I did.  We went into the kitchen to help with dinner.  When all of a SUDDEN…TO BE CONTINUED

I hav hope n everything that i do.  i always try n do my best in everything that goes on around me.  if i do something wrong then i try to do better the next time i do it.  one thing i try to do my best is dancing.  i love dancing like ive said before i get to take alot of my anger out when i dance.  when i dance it makes me feel good to because i feel that i am dancing fo my great grandmother who died when i was young.   i feel that she can look down on me and say well done.  that is why every time that i am dancing i look up before i dance and when i am finshed dancing.  when things are going bad in my life i think about her in it seems like all the stress has been lifted off my soliders.  I somethimes can hear her talking to me telling me that she loves me or telling me to never give up. i also find myself doing things like she used to do, like just sitting around the house or on the porch eating ice or cooking dinner for the family on sunday. i just wish she was still was alive to help me through things more than what she is doing now. 

On Saturday April 12 my lil bro had his 1st t-ball game.  i think that i was more excited than he wuz.  it was just amazing to watch him play something that he is gud @ and something that he luvs.  i jus love watching him play with his 6 year old friends and 2 c how much energy they hav n their lil bodies.

hey wats up erebdy!?! i had da best weekend eva.  on sunday my mom invited ne bdy who wanted 2 cum ova n eat.  so many came ova n it turned n sum wat of a house party.  we had sum friends ova n family.  it wuz very exciting.  the only down fall abt it wuz dat we had 2 b bac @ da church 5p.m n erebdy didn’t get der till abt 3:30.  bt this sunday were suppose 2b going 2 sumbdy elses house in this sunday we wont have 2 b ne wer til abt 6pm.  n ere bdy is lookin 4ward 2 dis weekend.

Today i’m goin dwn twn for dance practice wit my play sis.  we hav fun all the time wen we hav we.  we goof off at the same time we’re practicing.  some people aren’t able to do that but we’re multi tasked.  wen dancing wit my sis i feel free i feel dat nothin matters and wen im wit her i jus feel dat i cant get embarrased around her. 

My nickname 4rm wen i wuz a lil girl.  The person who gave me this nickname was my mommy n my daddy.   n ever since den every body has called me this.

My name is Jameela.  Everybody calls me mimi though.  I’m bright skined. I’m 17 year old and I’m a junior.  i love 2 dance swim cheer n hang out wit my friend n my free time.  i love to eat food.  My favorite food to eat is spaghetti. my favorite style of food id mexican and soul food.
